Alumni Relations Institute 2021
February 1 – February 16
Over the course of this programme, you will hear from some of Europe’s most experienced Alumni Relations practitioners, meet and network with colleagues from across the sector, and develop your own thinking. Most importantly, the Institute is a chance for you to test, shape and share your ideas, away from the day-to-day challenges of meetings, emails, and ‘to do’ lists. The Institute aims to cover the full range of Alumni Relations activity, from long-term strategy and planning, to quick wins and solutions to common challenges.

You will leave the institute with the tools needed to successfully manage alumni relations programmes and with expert advice on how to maximise your impact with limited resources.
- Plenary sessions – hear from your expert faculty, guest speakers, and alumni themselves
- Tutorial groups – This year, the tutorial groups will be run as clinics, whereby participants will come with challenges they are currently facing at their institution, and the tutor group will work to collectively offer solutions. Groups will choose a minimum of 2 challenges to present to all participants at the end of the three weeks.
- Networking sessions – informal and formal opportunities to get to know fellow participants and expand your alumni relations professional network
- Mentoring opportunities – Participants will be paired up ahead of the institute, and asked to commit to ‘3 cups of coffee’ – 3 mentoring meetings with their partner across the three weeks.
Who Should Attend
The Alumni Relations Institute is aimed at junior professionals who are new to the sector, and mid-level professionals who are looking to get a refresher.
