POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing and Student Success Coordinator to join our Graduate and Professional Studies team. As the Marketing and Student Success Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in enhancing enrollment efforts and providing exceptional service to our prospective and current students. Your responsibilities will encompass managing marketing initiatives, coordinating online recruitment events, supporting student academic evaluations, and collaborating closely with admissions and registrar’s office teams to ensure efficient student record management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Community Centered:
Reflect and promote the mission, vision, and identity of Vanguard University.
Participate in the university community building partnerships with key stakeholders across the various schools, departments, and support systems.
Marketing Management:
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies. Utilize a mix of social media, digital platforms, print materials, and website updates to effectively engage prospective students and promote our programs.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure our marketing efforts remain innovative, relevant, and competitive.
Create compelling content, including blog posts, videos, and testimonials, to showcase the value and benefits of our graduate and professional programs.
Collaborate with the admissions team to align marketing efforts with recruitment strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
Online Recruitment Events:
Coordinate and execute engaging virtual recruitment events, such as webinars, workshops, and information sessions, to attract and convert prospective students.
Collaborate with the admissions team to develop event content, manage logistics, and leverage online platforms for effective event delivery.
Collect and analyze data from recruitment events to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Student Data Management:
Prepare preliminary academic evaluations for Professional Studies students, offering insights into program requirements, potential transfer credits, and academic pathways.
Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure accurate and timely evaluation of student transcripts and prior learning assessments.
Work closely with the Admissions Counselors and Registrar’s Office to ensure the accurate and efficient management of student records, from initial inquiry to enrollment and beyond.
Ensure data integrity by regularly reviewing and updating student information in our systems, collaborating with the registrar’s team as needed.
Collaborate closely with the admissions team members to review admission files, ensuring that prospective students receive timely and accurate responses to their inquiries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, student recruitment, or related roles, preferably in higher education or professional studies settings.
Strong understanding of market trends, digital marketing strategies, and social media platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage diverse audiences.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and webinar platforms.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-centric attitude with a genuine passion for providing excellent service to prospective students.
Collaborative team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
SALARY:
Full-time position.
$20.02 to $24.47 (Hourly)
Placement within the salary range is commensurate upon education and experience. Posted salary range reflects anticipated hiring scale for the position. Vanguard University also offers a very competitive and generous benefits package.
